The Data team at TubeBuddy is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help build robust, data-focused tools for our customers.

Job Summary:
In this role you will contribute to the development of data and machine learning services that support TubeBuddy's platform. Your work will span multiple areas including backend engineering, data engineering, MLOps, applied machine learning and DevOps. Your work will range from authoring data pipelines, deploying machine learning models, creating APIs for real time serving, and creating datasets for analysis and training. This position requires using serverless, horizontally scalable architecture patterns to deliver reliable, high-quality data solutions for our customers.

Core Technical Competencies:

  • Python
  • REST or GraphQL APIs
  • Authoring microservices
  • AWS cloud and CDK
  • Serverless and scale out cloud architecture
  • Data system experience including RDBMS, NoSQL, and Data Lake
  • Data transformations using dbt or Spark
  • GitHub Actions
  • Ability to author, deploy, and maintain services independently
